Volume 6 was definitely Ruby's time to shine.Ĥ. She's gets annoyed that her Uncle Qrow's drinking problem. She's starting to question Ozpin about what he was hiding things from everyone and asked Marie about her silver eyes. I didn't like that it took this long for her to get character development, but hey, better late than never.Īnyway, what development did Ruby get you might ask? Well, she was going through struggle with trying to keep her team together. Ruby Rose is the main character of the series and she didn't get anything for 5 seasons. You guys have no idea how happy I am because of this. It was both very interesting and extremely sad for both Ozpin and Salem.ģ. Salem being cursed with immortality and Ozpin being cursed with being reincarnated into different people until he kills Salem. It was obvious that these two have some sort of history together, but finding out that both of them are from the past and they were both cursed by the Gods of Light and Darkness was shocking. We got a lot of backstory on both Ozpin and Salem and.goddamn. I mean, Volume 4 had some decent actions scenes and we don't talk about Volume 5's action scenes.Ģ. There were a lot of action scenes in this volume, which made me feel like I was watching the first 3 volumes of RWBY. What are the positives of RWBY Volume 6 are?ġ. Along the way, the run into Grimm and after fighting them, Team RWBY, Oscar/Ozpin, and Qrow got separated from Team JN_R and they meet an old lady named Maria Calavera and everyone must find a way to make it to Atlas, reunite with Team JN_R, and fight even more Grimm. Team RWBY, JN_R, Oscar/Ozpin, and Qrow are heading to Atlas to put the Relic of Knowledge in the vault with the Relic of Creation. So, this volume takes place about 2 weeks after the events of the ending of Volume 5. If you don't agree, that's perfectly fine. And of course, these are just my personal opinions on this Volume. And after the disappointment of Volume 5, all I really wanted Volume 6 to be good and did it accomplish that? Well, let's talk about that. I think it's the weakest season of the entire series and it is number 8 pick for the worst show of 2018 for me. I love the world it set up, I love the story, and I especially love a majority of the characters. I've been a fan of this series since 2014. Now many of you already know about this, but I'll say it again, I love RWBY. RWBY Volume 6 has concluded and I'm about to review it.
